The Mayor’s office came to freuds to spread the word that post-Brexit, London remains united, full of creativity, diversity, and open for business.
freuds Accelerator is working to ensure that the #Londonisopen message is prominent throughout the capital, permeating throughout Londoner’s day-to-day lives and through a calendar of big moments and events in the fields of culture, art, theatre, music and sport.
The campaign launched with a simple creative: Londoners opening their doors.?This film has received more than 2.2 million views and inspired hundreds of individuals and organisations to create their own version.
Since the campaign’s launch, freuds has worked alongside the Mayor of London’s office to engage some of the nation’s top musicians and TV personalities to show their support in a series of short videos; hosted the first ever International Busking Day; enlisted the support of more than 50 West End theatres; showcased #Londonisopen inspired art on the underground; lit up Wembley Stadium with #Londonisopen; hosted a month of sport in August, including a new film featuring Mo Farah and a selection of the nation’s best sports teams; and launched the night tube with an inspired spoken word video.
